EQUINE NUTRITIONIST – BASED IN NORTH YORKSHIRE
We are searching for the ideal candidate to join our highly respected Nutrition Team at TopSpec.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about equine nutrition and welfare, to join our team of nutritionists. We take pride in the support we offer our customers by helping their horses, as well as retailers, vets, other equine professionals, and our own sales team.
This largely office-based role focuses on our Multiple Award-Winning-Helpline, which has been recognised by winning the BETA Award for ‘Excellence in Nutritional Advice and Customer Service’ an unrivalled fourteen times. Other roles include retailer and sales team training and support, writing articles for the equestrian press, producing POS technical information, producing information on sacks, tubs and all labels ensuring that they are legally compliant, quality control, forage sampling, and occasionally working on trade stands and supporting the sales team with technical advice on yards.
The successful candidate should have a good degree in animal nutrition or animal/equine science or veterinary science, with a strong equestrian background that includes experience in at least two of the equestrian disciplines. Experience within the equine industry will be beneficial.
With an excellent salary, commensurate with experience; fabulous spacious offices positioned in the countryside, located 2 miles from the A1, between Ripon and Thirsk.

Business Development Manager – South West
We wish to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager ideally living in Devon to work in the South West.
This position is to cover an established customer base and it is an opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to join the first class team at TopSpec.
This is a field based sales role, managing existing accounts, visiting retailers, yards and vet practices, as well as attending events and open days where required.
The successful candidate will
Have a proven track record in sales
Be naturally motivated and well organised
A people person with a professional attitude
A strong equine background including ridden experience in one of the main disciplines
An equine related degree and passion for correct feeding
