Outdoor and country clothing specialist, Horse & Outdoor were chosen by the public as winners of the latest nationwide Laminitis display competition run by TopSpec, well known for their weight watching range of horse feeds. The store, based in Macmerry near Edinburgh, took hours creating one of the largest displays ever created for the outlet, almost completely turning the shop into a mass of yellow and green.Spending time out of hours decorating and creating the display, the team at Horse & Outdoor made a huge effort to ensure their store display, along with their staff’s knowledge, helped to spread the word about TopSpec AntiLam and feeding horses and ponies prone to and recovering from laminitis.Said store manager Erin Archibald: "We were delighted to be chosen as one of the top three entries, but then when the public voted for us to win that was fantastic. We spent a lot of time ensuring our display was one of the biggest and the best. We even got our miniature Shetland ponies in store for the photo shoot."We stock a lot of the TopSpec range and are big supporters of the fantastic nutrition they provide. We have had great success ourselves, all the staff feed TopSpec and our Shetlands are fed on TopSpec AntiLam.”The team at Horse & Outdoor have won a fantastic prize package including two tickets to the daytime and evening performances at HOYS where they will lunch with their TopSpec Equine Advisor, Suzi Law.Said Katy Mickle of TopSpec: "We were delighted with the number of entries and the effort all the stores went to.
