FOLLOWING a hugely successful launch last year the National Restricted Novice Championship at The Festival of British Eventing in August will once again be supported by TopSpec. In 2015 the title went to young Noah Brook as the runaway winner of The TopSpec Challenge for The Corinthian Cup at Gatcombe Park.Riding Deo Volente III he stormed to victory around the undulating park to land a resounding win.Said Noah: "Winning the The TopSpec Challenge for The Corinthian Cup was a fantastic day. Competing at championship level at venues such as Gatcombe Park really helps to develop horses and put them in situations where there is a brilliant atmosphere."Competing at a major championship like The Festival of British Eventing really brings them on and helps them to deal with the bigger occasion."To ride alongside the best in the world and feel included - and be part of - the main competition was a fantastic experience.”Twenty-year-old Noah has set up his own yard at Retford in Nottinghamshire having previously worked for showjumper Andrew Saywell and spent two years with renowned trainer and producer Judy Bradwell. He currently has five rides for the 2016 season across both eventing and dressage and is also busy teaching and training riders. The TopSpec Challenge for the Corinthian Cup is aimed at true amateur riders and will be one of the championship classes taking place August 5 to 7.Said Nicola Tyler of TopSpec: "Last year’s TopSpec Challenge for ‘The Corinthian Cup’ was a thoughtful new addition to The Festival of British Eventing."Gatcombe Park provides a stunning location for the championship and we are looking forward to another brilliant competition this year.”
