BASED in County Galway, Imelda O’Shaughnessy knew she had an outstanding show cob but struggled to get the dappled grey into top class show condition.Bought as a yearling, the full Irish Draught by Hunting Field Rebel out of a Cream of Diamonds mare, The Forger was a late developer and despite winning at Royal Dublin last year, Imelda was keen to start the 2012 season with more condition on him."He is six now but being full Irish Draught has only just started to mature. I have always struggled to get weight on him, especially from a show cob point of view,” said Imelda."I started to feed him TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer and TopSpec Cool Condition Cubes in March and within three weeks the difference was amazing."Then another month later he just blossomed and now looks fantastic I couldn’t wish for more."He has won at all three shows this season, taking the Lightweight Cob’s at Balmoral and followed this with Supreme Show Champion at Mullingar Intertnational."He really does look well and after trying for two years, when he was backed and did a couple of shows as a four-year-old to get weight on him, he now looks so different and I really am pleased with the results thanks to TopSpec.”
