IT was a cool Kitty King and a stylish Vendredi Biats who took the honours at this year’s Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials.Kitty and the talented grey’s performance was truly consistent throughout and he looked in superb condition.Kitty has been supported by Yorkshire-based TopSpec for more than 16 years and the team enjoyed cheering on her fantastic effort.Heading the Equi-Trek CCI4*-L, Kitty and Vendredi Biats, added just 0.4 of a showjumping time fault to her dressage mark of 26.8.Vendredi Biats, who is owned by Diana Bown, Sally Lloyd-Baker, Sally Eyre and Samantha Wilson, put in a very classy performance in all three phases at Bramham.Said a delighted Kitty: "It’s lovely to put it all together when it really matters. I didn’t feel too nervous before the showjumping because he is such a good jumper and has produced plenty of clear rounds, so I just focused on what I was going to be doing and on my lines and turns.”Added Katy Mickle of TopSpec: "We are all so delighted for Kitty and her team.
